More molotov cocktail containers
Summary
Features ".5L glass jars and glass seasoning bottles can be used for molotov cocktails"
Purpose of change
Glass bottles can be hard to find sometimes and there are a few common glass containers that can hold 500ml of gasoline or whatever liquid is needed.
Describe the solution
I added 1x .5L glass jar 1x glass seasoning bottle 2x small glass seasoning bottle as container options for the molotov cocktail recipe.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Odd that these glass jars are not already used. Maybe there's a reason? Probably just an oversight.
Testing
Tested in debug mode on my computer.
Additional context
I feel like the reason you wouldn't want to use a 0.5 L jar here is because it turns into a ~1 L jar when finished, when its own volume is 690 mL, and the cotton patch is only 6 mL.
I'm also concerned-enough about the two-container solution to suggest that they weren't appropriate originally, and adding more is exacerbating the problem. There's no connective material in this recipe: no glue, no duct tape, no rope... How would you attach two smaller containers together to make a large one of the Molotov?
I'd say the original recipe needs a review, and that then work should be done for adding extra containers... although how to approach it is beyond me at the moment. We can't make the same item have different volumes based on... anything, really, so keeping using all of the same containers for Molotov is out of the question. Making multiple separate items for different containers is on the bloaty side of things. What other option for this are there?
Preservation of volume is an important concern for a lot of recipes in this game, and this is just one example. Maybe by figuring out this one, all the other recipes could be thought over, as well.
I thought about the binding material myself and considered making another recipe for them including a long string or something similar. The reason I think they were originally not connected is because you can throw them at the same time. It works as one item like a pair of shoes. You could simulate it's more awkward to throw by using another similar item (makeshift Molotov cocktail?) that has a throwing penalty. But in some specific situation you're not going to be worried about finding a bow for it if you are trying to save your life. I think that's the idea. It's not absolutely necessary.
As for the jar. Regardless of the volume the function should remain the same. Here is how I see it working: 500ml gasoline goes into the 5L jar. A rag is inserted into the jar with most exposed. Then the cap is put on the jar to seal the gasoline and hold onto the rag. You light the rag and throw the jar at the target. When it hits the ground it shatters and so the fire lights the gasoline.
The only issue is the volume is smaller so it's storage properties are different. The solution might be finding a way for items to "inherit" volume from component(s) like calories are inherited by meals. Another problem with Molotovs, before I forget, is disassembling them. You can't use the container involved as the receptacle for the gasoline so you might be forced to spill it on the ground if you don't have another near by.
