Use hearing loss symbol when using ear plugs

Whenever a portal storm hits and I need to sleep, I usually wear earplugs so the noise doesn't wake my character up, however when I wake up I almost always forget to take them back out again. This mistake has cost me many runs because of me not being able to hear noise and also NPCs turning hostile when I try talking to them.

Solution you would like.

There is a symbol that shows up over a character whenever they listen to MP3 players or they get hearing loss from explosions. This symbol looks like a speaker with a cross over it.

I would like to see this symbol over my character whenever they put ear plugs in. This would be a constant reminder that they are currently deaf.

Describe alternatives you have considered.

I considered a system where a character just automatically takes them out when they wake up, but this fix is far simpler
