Breaking bug constantly Reloads page with "+" after ?search=, replacing it with " ". May lead to blacklisting by firewall

Original issue:

On the page https://www.uptodate.com/contents/diclofenac-systemic-patient-drug-information?search=diclofenac+sodium&source=panel_search_result&selectedTitle=3~105&usage_type=panel&display_rank=3&showDrugLabel=true

the + after ?search=diclofenac keeps getting replaced with %20 and getting replaced back with + and constantly reloading the page 25+ times before stopping. Turning off filtering stops the issue from occurring, but there is no entry in the log.

This is a very breaking bug which totally breaks some websites, one being google trends. It has existed quite some time in the extension and makes a lot of pages totally unusable, sometimes it may even cause your IP address to be temporarily banned by a firewall or other anti-spam solution

I have the same issue. Side note, @ccuser44, I'd reccomend that you generallly don't bump issues. This is open source software. Work on open source software is normally done on a volunteer basis, and in people's free time.

I can confirm this bug exists with constant rewriting of current URL bar. Maybe there should be ability to exclude/whitelist some URLs or Hosts from altering by this addon?

Apparently there was an attempted fix in 1.9.0 but it unfortunately doesn't seem to work at all or not properly
