ClearURLs breaks URLs with hash marks in them, such as the ones on cryptpad dot fr

Example page where ClearURLs displays this behavior: https://cryptpad.fr/pad/#/3/pad/edit/c86c3658c2846886885537381ffb4e26/ Page loads okay at first, when clicking the link or pasting the address. On closing and reopening the browser, the hash marks are escaped erroneously, leading to a 404.
