ClearURLs breaks Gitlab

Hello,

for instance here:

https://invent.kde.org/qt/qt/qtbase/-/tree/kde/5.15

trying to change branch removes the branch parameter from the url, which gives a 404.

I have also encountered this issue when working with Netlify CMS, as their API mirrors that of GitLab.
