Add a /npc setskin [name] with a predefined list of skins
Hello, everything is in the title. It will be cool to have the possibility to set a skin to our NPC after the creation because right now, the skin is attached tothe name of the NPC which is not really conveniant for having different NPC with the same skins (not the Notch one of course) or even changing the color of their name without loosing the skin.
I'm absoluetly not talking about custom NPC skins, just beeing able to choose the skin of our NPC based on a list of predefined skin in the plugin.
Thank you for reading.
How can you change the skins? I desperately would like to do that...
In fact the skin is bound to the name of your NPC. If you use a name of a real player registered at minecraft.net, the npc will use the skin of this player.
So what i was saying is to add a command
/npc setskin
Sounds so simple, yet massively better
That might be cool. Maybe just some skins as simple as Blacksmith, guard, etc. I think this is a rlly gewd idea.
In fact, seeing how it is done right now you can have "any" skin you want. You just have to use the name of a real user of minecraft.net and the NPC will use its skin.
For me it sounds really simple.
"Can I give my NPCs custom skins?
Citizens does not officially support custom skins and never will. However, for custom skins and other client-side Citizens additions, it is recommended that you use CitizenSpout by mbsuperstar1."

Nuff said.
Citizen spout is inactive or I would have done that, Nuff said. :P
Why are you talking about citizen spout ?! Did you know that you can already have different skins that the notch one with the citizen plugin without citizen spout ? And if i'm not wrong, citizen spout is client side based right ? It will be better to have a server side thing.
I would like to know how? :)
