Tabs in mod options... Make room for new "Bulk" tab?
With the emergence of Kian's bulk applicator tools, I'm wondering if Policies tab is the correct place to put their options? I feel like they merit their own tab.
A "Bulk" (or some better word) tab could provide a little guidance to users too, for example:
Bulk applicators apply multiple policies to a junction or road with just a single click!
Priority roads
Select Priority Signs tool, then Ctrl+Click a junction (Shift+Control+Click will do whole route) to apply the following policies:
(o) checkboxes...
As we are already very low on space for more tabs, maybe we could rename some of the existing tabs?
- General -> UI
- Gameplay (stays same)
- Policies (stays same)
- Bulk (new tab)
- Overlays (stays same)
- Maintenance -> Tools
- Keybinds -> Keys
I have no idea if those changes would shrink down the tabstrip in all languages. From memory German and Polish were the most problematic in terms of word lengths.
If still lack of room, we could potentially shrink font size of tab text, and/or shrink padding of tabs. From vague memory Network Extensions 2 mod does something like that.
