lane connector for railway
Describe your idea
There are so many trains on railway, so I build a separate railway line specially for inner city passenger trains. At some places the inner city line and outside line are parallel, as shown in https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3017887367
But the problem is when they need to cross a road, there will be two sets of barriers, they are so close, and causing big traffic. So I changed the railways like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3017887396 There is only one set of barriers now, but new problem appears, some cargo trains are using the inner city line, which is not what I want. So I try to use the "lane connector" function of TMPE, like this: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3017887426 But the railway is not supported. So I'm hoping if it is not too much trouble, can you add support of railway?

What do you mean by that? What do you want to connect? It's very hard to guess from a single screenshot without any other notes what was your idea. Recording short clip (a few sec.) in mp4 format could help a lot (10MB size is max).

Sorry I dont know how to make a mp4 file. But I made a picture, the four lane connectors are what we want.
With the help of these lane connectors, trains come from the orange color direction, can not drive to the green color direction. trains come from the green color direction, can not drive to the orange color direction. trains come from the yellow color direction, can not drive to the blue color direction. trains come from the blue color direction, can not drive to the yellow color direction.

Lane connector can connect lanes that are connected to the node. Lane connector already supports train tracks, but from what I see, it doesn't seem to be one node where roads and train tracks meet, but more than one node, so train tracks are not joined with node. What you've shown is impossible to implement. You have to connect all tracks and roads to a single node then you can use lane connector tool as you wish.
