Markdown linting

Hello,

Is this project interested in adding Markdown linting? (ex: for the Readme and any other Markdown)

I'm volunteering to work up fixes to the *.md files as well as provide GitHub Actions jobs.

I plan to use the markdownlint-cli2 linter (written in Node.js) unless there's a preference to using the predecessor markdownlint (written in Ruby).

In the meantime I'm fixing up some grammar and will probably perform a bit of md linting.
