For instance, the command: clamscan.exe -r --follow-dir-symlinks=0 --follow-file-symlinks=0 "c:\folder" will KEEP following symlink directories and files contained inside "c:\folder"...

OS: Windows 7 x64 sp1

(note that symbolic directories and files can be created using the Window's tool: mklink.exe)
