Apps from SD card do not open

At fist - Thank you for the great project. I am having much fun with the Ringo phone. Unfortunately I am facing a problem when using firmware based on this repository. Launching Apps from SD card result in getting stuck in "Loading..." screen after the "Loading Now". This problem also happens with a build using unmodified files from the repository. I followed the steps provides by the tutorial for Visual Studio Code. Can someone help or advise?
