Windows 11 Sprite saving issues?

Open tangentbison opened this issue 3 years ago • 3 comments

After creating a custom sprite and adding it to the Nibble project using the Display>Draw Sprite block, I am unable to save my project - neither with the save button nor the save&close dialog box. If I use a default sprite (e.g. tree1) it will let me save. Am I doing something wrong or is this potentially a bug with Windows 11 compatibility? Thanks!

I experience the problem of not being able to save a project in the following case:

  1. create a custom sprite
  2. create draw sprite block with the custom sprite selected as te sprite
  3. cannot save the project now

If I select a default sprite in the draw sprite block, I am able to save the project.

I am running OSX.

Same issue occurs in Windows 10 when I: Try to draw a sprite to the Chatter display under Arduino run first:
