Re-Installing IPTV.bundle

Open j3tang opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

I have the exact same issue as the one linked here, which was that the plugin got installed correctly once, I uninstalled and wanted to re-install. However, re-installing did not work, not even the work around posted in the other issue, which was to rename the .bundle to something else.

Anyone else have this problem?

I've referenced the multiple install solution: https://github.com/Cigaras/IPTV.bundle/wiki/How-to-install-IPTV.bundle-multiple-times

But that does not seem to resolve the issue. Right now I have 0 instances of it installed ...

A different plugin (MultiPlex), based off of this plugin by Cigaras, seems to suffer the same fate. I was looking for an alternative plugin since no one seems to be able to fix this issue except I can't even install MultiPlex once, likely because it thinks it's another re-install of IPTV.

I tested the install and then uninstall of other plugins and do not seem to have the same problem.

Had a the same issue, I had to clear all the cache in the plugin folder and then reinstalled it for it to work.

Deleting the xml files located in C:\Users******\AppData\Local\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Preferences works for me

In addition to what @dentalcustard said I would suggest to also delete these folders:

...\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Caches\com.plexapp.plugins.iptv
...\Plex Media Server\Plug-in Support\Data\com.plexapp.plugins.iptv

I also updated the wiki with uninstallation guide.
