After some testing, it seems to happen if you make two categories with the same text string, but in different case. I'll add a guard to stop this from happening.

p.s. @SpareSimian I was also able to trigger the bug with 192955, a gem. It doesn't seem to be specifically tied to consumable. I'll dig more here.
@SpareSimian right click the bag icon on the top left to clear new items and sort.
Let's wait until 10.0.2, as that version is going to break everything across the board, and may require a bit of work.
