Alternate paths for ROMs
I'd like to request the ability to select other alternate paths for the ROMs, because it's possible that different devices might require different paths.
Also, on some devices there can be more than one volume (like internal storage vs SD card) and it'd be nice to be able to choose where the ROMs should live based on where there's more free space.
Even if you don't want to implement this, please at least edit README.md to explains that ROMs should go in /roms/vb/
Thanks for the info, that's exactly what I was looking for. Has no idea where the ROMs should go.
What do you mean with "some devices"? The Oculus Go and Oculus Quest don't support sd cards. And yes I really should update the readme.
Whatever comes along. It would future-proof the software.
Also being able to have subfolders (like "US" "Europe" "Japan" and "Homebrew") would be a help.

I would like to second this request. Not because of the future proofing or multiple volumes things previously mentioned, but rather because I have tons of VB ROMs what with all of the homebrew, demos, and GameBoy emulator game packs and it would be nice to be able to organize them into subdirectories under the /ROMS/VB directory that would show up for you to browse in the emulator menu. As it stands now, they are just all in one huge list in the emulator menu that is a little unruly to navigate.
Thanks for your work on this. I've been getting back into it with the release of the Quest 3 recently and it is my favorite way to play VB games!
What the actual point of emulating the Gameboy on the VirtualBoy on something else? Why not just get a Gameboy emulator for Android? If the Gameboy emulator for the Virtual Boy added some stereoscopic features to the Gameboy games somehow then that'd be a good answer but I'm not aware of that being the case
