Giving Report (Tax Statement) Incorrect

Open ChurchCRMBugReport opened this issue 7 years ago • 5 comments

I have 1 deposit closed with 2 lines. Both lines have the same date. I am using Envelope. So for Envelope 1 which has only 1 member, the report generated correctly showing only 1 line detail with the correct amount. For Envelope 2 which has 3 members, the report generated incorrectly showing 3 lines. I was expecting to see only 1 line. The total amount is triple the correct value.

I believe this is a duplicate of #3861

Please try re-running the tax reports, and select all of the classifications on the report screen - the resultant report should be correct.

I saw ticket #3861 but wasn't able to get the report to run successfully. After some trial and errors, I was able to generate with correct info. Here is what I noticed.

If I go to the Giving Report and filter on Classification = Member Filter by Family = A single family Report Start Date = 2018-01-01 Report End Date = 2018-02-18 Apply Report Dates To = Payment Date Filter Deposit = All deposits within date range Filter by Fund = Add All Funds

I get an incorrect report.

However, if I don't select anything for Classification but leave everything else the same as above, the generated report is correct.

It looks like the Classification filter is the problem.
