Enhance modularity

I open this issue to organize the work to split the scripts in one "functions script" and 2/3 command script. At the moment I have no experience about function inclusion in Bash (I come from C++). @Chrysostomus do you already have a clear idea of the final result? I should have the time to work on the code in the next week.
