Problems with installing a custom system

Open TehNewbie opened this issue 6 years ago • 4 comments

Hello there! I'm having some problems when using the "Install Custom System" option. Right after choosing to install the base packages, I get this error: "[update profiles pkgs][1] error: manjaro-iso-profiles-official package not found". Could you take a look into it?

Thank you for reporting, I'm looking into it when kids sleep.

Just to check: are you using the latest package in manjaro repos? The error seems something that would come up with very old version of manjaro-architect

You mean the latest version of the Architect, yes? If so then yup, 0.9.28 if I am not mistaken. Don't worry too much about it though, I was trying to install Manjaro on a virtual machine, and I am not in a hurry. 😄

I'm also having an issue with the custom system, where the desktop environments simply won't install. I select Openbox and Windowmaker, and hit okay then immediately get spat back out to the previous screen with no time to see what errors Pacman is having after it verifies the repos.
