Okay, that is a good argument for keeping it there. It makes sense to apply with installer, because it depends on the hardware and driver choice.

Has the issue you mentioned in third post been solved? I think using systemd hooks can be left for user discretion. We have options to edit the right configuration files.

Do you mean saving your choices in the installer, or copying the running system into the installation, or something else?

This is planned feature, but not happening anytime soon. Possibly with 1.0 release or later. Currently there is such file, but it stores only language choices persistently and little else.
