Browse fails when there is an escaped character in path

Love this extension and use it a lot in markdown files. But one thing I don't like is that if there is a special character in part of the path then the intellisense stops working. For example navigation through a path like this: "../notes/scenes/book 1/target.txt" Intellisense will pop up after "../" and show "scenes" and after that "book 1" but there it will stop because of the space in "book 1".
