Unable to use web history in MSEDGE after running tweaks once.

I ran either the minimal or the desktop tweaks as I hadnt seen any disclaimer about msedge until I watched a 2nd video... my history (at least in the address bar) wasn't displaying anymore so I did undo tweaks, then set the tweaks to not include telemetry or activity history and redid them. Same thing on reboot. Then I hit UNDO tweaks and still, no ability to see browsing history without manually going to the history page, making web browsing a pain in the ass.
