I'd like to remove Xbox from my system whilst keeping the vanilla MC launcher functional. A tool/tweak that does this would be nice.

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Xbox isn't needed for the vanilla MC launcher to function (if I'm correct). An option to fully remove the unneeded Xbox bloat from the system would be very nice.
