Thank you for this. I really like open source itself as an idea and I always wondered how I (with little to no experience with GitHub & git) could contribute to it. :)
I stopped contributing due to rampant "Code of Conduct" abuse. We're not in kindergarten, I'm not going to follow teacher's rules or get sent to the time-out closet. Boot these agenda-driven control freaks and contributors will come back.
i have a big problem with certain open source projects , their community's that silence the mere mention of the last name lunduke , and they act like petty tyrants to such a degree hitler or stalin would look at them with envy , its influenced my distro choices where i wont use certain distros and i donate accordingly ,i do think there needs to be more accountability how funds are spent in the open source community , if your donating spell out where you would like the funds to go and where to spend them , and if they refuse to do so ,
