Using with PowerShell 5.1

I have some systems that I still have to use PowerShell v5.1. Is there a way to make this powershell-profile universal so it can be used with PS v5.1 and PS v7? Currently when launch under PS v5.1 there are errors because some of the cmdlets use parameters only available with PS 7.4. Thanks.
