Make use of flatpak if a distro ain't supported (for some apps)

Just wanted to use linutil to get neovim configured and I discovered that nixos isn't supported

Make that the script will download a flatpak if the distro ain't supported

I agree, and I do see that in some places it was done, but flatpak does not have every app either :)
i'm not sure i am fully on on this. would probably be better to get some more input here. @ChrisTitusTech @afonsofrancof ?
I like flatpaks, but I don't want to confuse people. It would need to be clear what the user is installing. It's also a LOT of work to do this for every existing app.
I am sure it's possible, but I think it's best to see what @ChrisTitusTech says.

Makes sense, I wouldn't recommend changing existing scripts too much work, but future scripts maybe?
Maybe offer the option to install via flatpak rather than just doing so?
