Hi Chris.

Do you think you could make this work inside new 2015 release of DW?

Thanks, Nino

Hi Chris, Have you been working on the update for DW 2015? Thx

+1 for this. It is not working in Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015, Adobe Extension manager says "it requires version 6 over" but I am actually using CC 2015

I have found a solution. The problem is that Adobe Extension Manager does not support CC after 2014. To get it working, all you need to do is:

  • Download the command line tool from https://www.adobeexchange.com/resources/28
  • Extract the files in the zip into your Extension Manager's folder (usually C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Extension Manager CC)
  • Open Extension manager and it will update with all the 2015 and previous Adobe programs you have installed
  • Double-click the zxp file and it will install as normal

Can you try https://github.com/ChrisMcKee/gitweaver/blob/master/GITWeaver.zxp its the old package repackaged using the new adobe packager...

Using the download from the above link, the Adobe Extension Manager still gives the error that it requires Dreamweaver 6 or greater and I am running Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015. I think V8Darren is correct, we must force an update.

GitWeaver.zxp installs just fine once the patch mentioned by V8Darren is installed.

@Prodigitude ah tbh I thought i'd packaged "GITWeaver - 1.4.1.zxp" on CC (probably the last version I used) I packaged the one I linked above after jumping through hoops with their new manager. The problem lies in that they've made the 'creation tool' a paid extra, and I've used neither tortoise or dreamweaver in about 4 years.

I see. Well to be perfectly honest, I wanted to test using Dreamweaver for a few specific things that I recall it did well several years ago. But my preference is a different IDE and I hadn't used it for years either. I recently subscribed to the full creative cloud suite and figured that I should look at it again. Thank you for the addon!
