Icons not centered after connecting/disconnecting external monitor

Open Alonzzzo2 opened this issue 3 years ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug When disconnecting the external monitor from the laptop, the taskbar has no icons - need to run taskbarx again and it fixes it. When reconnecting the external monitor to the laptop - the taskbar has icons but not centered (the external monitor has much more horizontal pixels than the laptop) - need to run taskbarx again and it fixes it

To Reproduce

  1. start without external monitor connected
  2. connect external monitor (much more horizontal pixels) Or
  3. start with external monitor connected
  4. disconnect external monitor

Expected behavior taskbar icons should be centered at the primary monitor - the primary monitor is the external monitor when it is connected

I am having a very similar issue when undocking my laptop with an external screen. The symptom I have is that the icons shift to the right. Restarting TaskbarX fixes it too. image

I do have Start 11 (from Stardock) and Displayfusion installed.

I have the same issue when switching inputs on my monitor eg from HDMI to Displayport. When I switch to the input running TaskbarX it only extends to half the screen. Restarting TaskbarX fixes it too.
