Taskschedule Startup Task + User Name With Spaces
Describe the bug My Username in Windows is my first name and last name (ex: John Doe) TaskbarX fails to start because of how the command prompt works with spaces The taskschedule: C:\Users\John Doe\Documents\TaskbarX_1.7.6.0_neutral\TaskbarX.exe (+arguments) Command Prompt says: C:\Users\John' is not recognized as an internal or external command
Fix In the taskschedule action, add quotes in the file path (ex: "C:\Users\John Doe\Documents\TaskbarX_1.7.6.0_neutral\TaskbarX.exe"
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior: 1: Set username to have a space 2. Manually run taskschedule or complete trigger (log in) 3. TaskbarX does not launch, no error is displayed
Expected behavior Start TaskbarX normally
