Not Working On Win 11 Pro KB5022913 (OS Build 22621.1344) Preview
Describe the bug After updating to KB5022913 (OS Build 22621.1344) Preview on Windows 11 Pro TaskBarX is no longer working, I am running the latest RainMeter version and it is effectively is if the skin is not loaded. I suspect this in relation to changes to the search bar shown
New! This update improves the search box experience on the taskbar. As you type in the search box, search results now appear in the search flyout box. You can also change the search experience you want for your taskbar by going to Settings > Personalization > Taskbar. For commercial customers, this update adds a new policy for IT administrators to manage how the search box on the taskbar appears in your organization. For more information, see Customizing search on the Windows 11 taskbar.
To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behaviour: Install KB5022913 (OS Build 22621.1344) Preview on Windows 11 Pro (probably does the same on all windows 11 versions)
To Fix Confirmed removal of that update restores normal behaviour.
Expected behaviour After installing the update I would expect TaskBarX to continue displaying its changed visual style however it does not.
Desktop (please complete the following information):
- OS: Windows 11 Pro

Try
vivetool /enable /id:26008830
Didn't work for me. Anyone found a fix yet? For getting either this or TranslucentTB to work?

Any updates on this issue?
Sadly not, the dev seems inactive on this.
@ChrisAnd1998 ?
@CrazyWolf13 I am aware of the issue. However i have not found a way to fix it other than removing the update.

Oh, then I heavily apologise!
No problem ;) I am afraid the taskbar styling feature will be borked because of this update in future versions of Win11 though... However I will keep trying to find a solution for this issue.

Oh no! That would be very sad.
Hope the best for you, and I'm convinced you will find something you are such a great developer👏

Thanks for your solution @REDSOULTM. However, now that I am accustomed to the Windows 11 taskbar, I would prefer to continue using it.

Sorry for asking, but do you know how to reverse the downgrade? I installed it but had a change of mind, so I tried messing around to remove it. My attempts so far are unsuccessful◞‸◟

I am sure you are aware and working away on this but the latest release of TranslucentTB has fixed the issues with regards to the Windows 11 update. I wonder if any of the code on that project could be of help. https://github.com/TranslucentTB/TranslucentTB
