App not starting on user logon

Open Kevin64 opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

Aerial is not starting when the user logs in, even with the task showing in Task Scheduler, which claims "Access Denied (0x80070005)". I even tried to remove the task and create it again (by claiming a desktop space), and reinstalling the app, with the same outcome.

Task Scheduler logs says the following: image image

Btw, I'm using the Store version.

The Windows Store version cannot properly create tasks due to how applications on the Windows Store have limited privileges. Please use a release from this repository instead.

@GeorgeGedox In very rare cases it has issues but, creating a Taskschedule under the current user is totally fine with the store version. For example the project iam very active on called TaskbarX does it too.. I haven't looked into Aerial for a while but i can apply some fixes i learned from TaskbarX.
