Aerial automatically selects "Top" even without appropriate argument

I have Aerial set to activate for only the right side of my secondary monitor. But whenever I reboot my computer, the top and right sides of my secondary monitor are activated. I checked Task Scheduler and found the ostensibly correct argument for the executable, but opening Aerial shows that "Top" is selected as well as "Right". I must manually deselect "Top" on every reboot. This behavior is consistent and repeatable.

This behavior is consistent both in the Windows Store version and the GitHub package, both on Windows 10 and Windows 11. How do I resolve this issue?

I'm having the very same issue, it seems it was never fixed.
