Adding further drivers / driver dev docs?

Looking thru the code and how it loads a driver made me see that there are lots of information packaged with a driver. Are there some Assembly-Macros or helpers not in the source tree for creating drivers? I'd love to make an importer and driver that enables ATMDS-music to be loaded, edited and repackaged ...
