ActivityPub post when starting a live stream
Describe the problem to be solved
I am running my own PeerTube instance where I have a local account ([email protected]). With this account I have created a channel where I have started live-streaming. I also have a Mastodon account ([email protected]) and my Mastodon account is following my PeerTube account with notifications enabled.
Even after 10+ mins of starting the stream I still get no notification of the stream starting on Mastodon. I do however get a notification from my PeerTube account after I've stopped streaming that the live stream has been saved and uploaded to my library.
Describe the solution you would like
It would in my opinion be much more helpful to have that notification go out when I start the stream instead of after I've already stopped it.
Running Peertube version 7.2.1
Can also add that PeerTube sends out a Mastodon post when first publishing the stream but like what's written above, it'd be a lot more useful if it could post when starting to stream as well. I also forgot to mention this is in regards to a permanent (recurring) stream.
