Federation with funkwhale
I've been thinking of extending the federation capabilities between Peertube and Funkwhale. Funkwhale is specialized in audio content. I was wondering if we could request a audio content from peertube, using musicbrainz id ? This would require to implement musicbrainz id into peertube and to add api endpoint to get only audio content (either a list of video that are audio videos, or directly an audio stream)
We also could implement federation the other way around : get audio content from funkwhale network into peertube.
What do you think ? Are you interested ?
Also filling gabs in our Music Video playlists with content from the Whale,,, the problem however, is that the whale do not live up to the privacy standards FramaSoft does, and the reason that I do not have a Whale. (Would love too as the programs as such are pretty need and nice, and does what it's build for pretty well.
I've Told the whaler bot matrix about these privacy issues do to the MITM hosted scripts, that clearly violated the right to privacy online, but their seems to be of no interest at all, actually, quit the opposer to my feeling.
@spirillen you where asked what data is send to clouflare and how it is send, you did not respond. If you can provide us with meaningful information about how Funkwhale violates user privacy we would of course look for solution.
Also know that Funkwhale is open to contributions, if you want to open a mr resolving the issue you found feel free to do so (if it doesn't expose a vulnerability of course).
And that is then a Lie... I did respond, that I'm not going to provide a full assay on topics as the data are already public from people with better educations to provide these profs.
the only meaningfull information you provided is it appears that our [rights to online privacy](https://kb.mypdns.org/articles/MPDNS-A-2) are compromised by [Cloudflare](https://kb.mypdns.org/articles/MPDNS-A-4), specifically through the use of unpkg.com (https://unpkg.com/[email protected]?module). So I suppose you're referring to this part of the funkwhale code : import { createApp, reactive, nextTick } from 'https://unpkg.com/[email protected]?module'. I don't know exactly what metadata this send to cloudflare but if it's important for you I suppose we could add [email protected] in our dependencies and import it directly instead or relying on unpkg.com. That being said I' not the person maintaining the frontend. And has I already said previously Funkwhale is open to contributions so if you have time and if you want feel free to open an mr.
Now I will stop speaking with you since you sound very insulting and actually I'm doing this on my free time. Time I would rather spend being respected.
