PeerTube Bridge
It would be amazing if PeerTube had something along the lines of Mastodon's Bridge tool. Basically, Bridge was an app that allowed users to connect their Mastodon and Twitter accounts together, so that they could see which of their Twitter friends were on Mastodon. It made discovery and following really easy, and helped bootstrap some early communities.
Something similar for PeerTube could be a real help for building PeerTube video communities.
- Connect your YouTube account, and see if anyone you're following is also on PeerTube. Easily follow their channel from your instance, no lookup required.
- Maybe this could be a small app on the Joinpeertube site that instances could connect to through an API?
- Maybe something like this could pull results into #2434 ? 😉
Even this is an old one, like a old one in coding time, I would like to give it a bump, Not to link or in any way interact with any walledgarden shit, but to interact with your fediverse account on other instance. PT is a fediverse tool after all.
