@pastaq Valve's gamescope-session does this, needed for frame limiting on everything but Galileo in my testing. Newer gamescope seems to only force this layer when nested or on Galileo.

Their comment is:

# This is already on by default on Galileo, but this enables it on Jupiter too
export ENABLE_GAMESCOPE_WSI=1
