[GPD Win 4] Support for custom display firmware flash that disables the landscape screen rotation…
…which adds input latency. Around 50ms to be precise.
This year, a known issue with the GPD Win 4 was addressed thanks to the community members and GPD themselves helping out - the input latency caused by the IC chip that rotates the native portrait screen to landscape.
Some Reddit posts about this issue:

For a few models, GPD provided a flashable software fix, which essentially disables the rotation and returns the screen into it's native 1080x1920 resolution. This creates some problems here in gamescope, especially with orientation. Similar to the Win Mini fix, this just checks if the screen is portrait.
This applies to all GPD models - the community figured out a way to reprogram the chip directly on the models that can't be software flashed (2025 HX 370 variants), same issue will happen there if screen is not re-oriented in software instead.
@plrusek Do you have any links on how to apply the software and hardware fixes? I don't see any mention of them in the Reddit posts.
Either way, this looks like a safe PR. @alkazar what do you think?

Oh, right, I guess I never mentioned where those fixes are. They're actually over at the unofficial GPD community server, in a thread dedicated entirely to this issue and a fix.

The fix that a popular youtuber, Joey's Retro Handhelds, mentioned in a review video and even showed on screen: https://youtu.be/iBzS8shpXv8?si=FhC1CF-2xpGs4G1c&t=781
..is taken from a repack by one of the Discord users on that thread. Well actually, if you don't want to join the Discord just to verify all this, here's a pack of all the instructions and drivers provided by that user: GPD WIN 4 Display Lag Fix.zip
