can't switch to desktop mode

Like in this closed ticket, I can't switch to desktop anymore: https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/issues/836

After pressing Switch to Desktop, I see the download configurations updates screen, leading back to game mode/big picture mode.

First occurred on stable. After switching to testing, it's still not working.

Same problem, today I am install last build form web site (ISO file) and this function work. After several restart Switch to Desktop stop to work
