Steam Controller does not work with RetroArch

RetroArch does not even show a pop-up to say there is a non-configured controller available. It does not see the Steam Controller at all. This is the case with and without Steam running.

We have hid_steam blacklisted here: https://github.com/ChimeraOS/chimeraos/blob/55750173a5187041e932c2aadb38708fa6ed9813/rootfs/etc/modprobe.d/system-tweaks.conf#L2 . Could that be the issue?
