HELP ME PLEASE???!!!!!

So I'm trying to download Minecraft Forge and I skip the ad for adf.ly and were it pops up at the bottom of your screen and says open or save and stuff like that I click open and I do what you are supposed to do then it says I need to run 1.8 at least once and I have Minecraft open so I don't understand what it means. Please help?

This is not an issue with forge multipart.

You have to run vanilla minecraft release 1.8 at least once before you run the forge installer. Here's a guide on how to change your minecraft version: https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/articles/1475923-changing-game-versions
