Still getting invalid argument
Saddly didn't worked to me
Please read the error message. Node must be reachable via /usr/bin/node and in path.
Sorry for miss attention, didn't see that. At end I solved upgrading Windows to patch with the ifconfig fix (what was causing networkInterfaces error) and everything works fine. https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/commandline/2017/04/11/windows-10-creators-update-whats-new-in-bashwsl-windows-console/
I have this same problem. I am using nvm manager. I have been trying to make node available at /usr/bin/node
to no avail.
I'm able to run node --version
and it works great.
I can't install the Creators update at this time, I need this work-around till I'm able to install the update.
Thanks.
As of now, this does not work with nvm. (Pull requests welcome - I don't maintain the shim anymore because Creators Update is out for a long time already.)
