How to train my own datasets?

I spent couples of weeks on this and failed to find the way to test my own datasets. I strictly followed Readme, changed the cfg and trained my own datasets successfully yet failed on test. It raised errors like this: "AssertionError: Attribute 'thing_classes' in the metadata of 'coco_2017_val' cannot be set to a different value! I wonder what shall I do
