MegaCli is not supported anymore: https://www.broadcom.com/support/knowledgebase/1211161498596/megacli-cheat-sheet--live-examples For newer Hardware/OS:

  • storcli should be used on Broadcom Controllers
  • perccli should be used on Dell Controllers (some kind of a fork of storcli)

This commit is adding support for newer Hardware/OS-Version using storcli or perccli instead of MegaCli
