Feature request: "touchpad-style" navigation

Hey, first of all, thanks for creating chatmosphere :).

For me, it would be really nice to be able to use the touchpad to pan normally and zoom only if a modifier (ctrl?) is pressed. This is the navigation style I am used to and would feel more natural for me.

Hi, can you elaborate? Are you on mac or windows laptop ? I have to pinch to zoom but mostly using a mouse, so your usecase would be helpful. Next goal for imo would be mobile navigation

We're using pinch zoom currently since it seems most direct and relates also to mobile / touch systems. Modifier could be implemented via a settings menu that we dont have yet but might come one day also for other user preferences; currently not on our near future roadmap. If someone wants to give a shot go ahead;
