This would be useful for "read receipts": http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0333.html

Already implemented in Conversations

Would this XEP then even lead to the case that the e.g. Conversations "XYZ has read up to this point" read markers will be triggered? because I don't get them from my iOS contacts so far

Nothing new? The lack of in chat feedback makes things strange, we never know if the iOS users read anything.

Should this be working? Contacts using Conversations on Android aren't receiving read receipts from me (using ChatSecure) either.

Update: Ah, sorry, I mistook "closed" on the dups as "merged/fixed".
