Cannot receive and save all kinds of files

Hi, ChatSecure cannot receive any files but images and video files. A friend using Conversations on an Android phone sent me an important pdf. I couldn't see it at all in Conversations.

I would like to be able to see that a file has been sent to me and save it on my iPhone.

iPhone 8 iOS 14.4.2
