Feature Request: Tags

Hi,

I am a dwm user, and have been for many years but I've been using gnome on a few machines recently, largely because of better touch support for tablets and touchscreen devices.

The biggest thing that I find lacking with gnome/gnomesome is the concept of dwm tags. The use of gnome workspaces doesn't fit my usecases.

I'd like to see tags implemented where every window has a bitfield of tags it is visible on, and a bitfield of all currently visible tags is set.

I'd be very happy to attempt to help write this feature, but would appreciate some help with looking in the right direction. Is there a way to easily toggle the visibility of a window? For example, I like to keep my chat clients on tag 6 so I can hit mod+shift+6 to toggle visibility of that tag. So, if tag 6 is currently visible and I hit that keystroke then that would need to hide that window.

If you have any other tips for working on a PR or for how this feature should be implemented please reply with that.
