Ability to override layout per-application

A handy feature that some other window managers have is to override the layout on a per-application basis, allowing for modals like pinentry to be set to always float.

I would love to see this too. IntelliJ IDEA has many popup windows that are far less usable in a tile (think code completion popups and "Find Action / File" popups)
