Error trying to connect to a Zebra label printer

Anyone here able to connect to a Zebra label printer undr Android? I'm trying to connect to the ZD420 model: https://www.zebra.com/zd420t-info

The printer is paired and is visible with BTPrinter.list(), but every call to BTPrinter.connect() fails with the error like this: read failed, socket might closed or timeout, read ret: -1
