CPA closes unexpectedly when accessing the Classifier or ImageGallery modules on Mac

Current release version of CPA (but not CPA built from source) crashes and closes unexpectedly in Mac M2 when trying to open the Classifier or ImageGallery modules, but is fine with any other modules. This behaviour is not replicated in Windows.

Trying to do a CellProfiler workshop, found out this is also happening on intel macs. Wheeeee.

Same issue with CPA executable download on both an Intel and an M2 Mac. Tried building from source instead, but no luck (seems there's a javabridge + numpy version issue), making CPA unusable on Mac unless someone found a workaround?

The same fatal crash is observed on M4 pro macOS Sequoia version 15.2 (24C101). The above version for installation from source did not succeed, i.e the CellProfiler-Analyst cannot be used on Mac at this stage. Does anyone has a workaraound?
